The International Churches of Nice and Saint Paul de Vence

The IBC Children’s Ministry is here to serve the next generation by providing a safe, fun, and gospel focused time of learning during the worship services of IBC.
It is a ministry by the church and for the church, which means that it is the parents and membership of IBC who share the responsibility for ministering to these young hearts.

We host a time of bible study, music, games and other activities during the worship service of both the Morning and Evening Service.
In St. Paul the children’s time is divided into ages 0-2 years in the nursery (crèche) and ages 3-8 in the Sunday School room. In Nice, everyone meets in the Fellowship Hall.

The Youth Ministry of IBC exists to strengthen the faith of the young adults of IBC so they can live for Jesus Christ every day. All activities are open to youth of 12-18 years of age (or once they start collège). There are several opportunities throughout the month for our youth to get together.

Youth Jam:
From time to time, the youth meet for lunch after the service from 1:00pm – 3:00pm. We eat, play music and hang out for an informal fellowship time. Consult the events tab for upcoming times.

Youth Nights: Regularly, the youth meet in an IBC family’s home or sometimes at the church for food, a short Bible lesson, and fun activities. This event along with other opportunities in the region for Christian youth to gather together are so important for establishing meaningful friendships with Christian brothers and sisters. We hope you will join us!  Consult the events tab for upcoming times.

Inés and Vlad invite you to their home for a young adults group. This will occur every other week, on Tuesday evenings in Nice. Check the events tab.  It will begin at 1900 (7PM) with a dinner served followed by Bible study and discussion.

If you’d like to participate in this event and need additional information, please click on the Contact tab, and Vlad will email you the address.

Do you desire to go deeper in your faith and in relationships at IBC? Or, are you still exploring who Jesus is and want a more informal and personal environment to do so? We at IBC believe home groups are a great place to achieve these goals. What better way to get to know and be known by others than to gather on a regular basis in smaller groups where a more in depth exchange can take place?

Home Groups are a mixture of age, gender, race and nationality. We are an international church and we celebrate our diversity because it demonstrates the power of the Gospel as a basis for unity (Galatians 3:28). Our groups are usually a collection of people who live in close proximity to one another. This makes it easier for our groups to get together and reach out to the community around them.

If you are still unconvinced of the truth of the claims of Christianity but have an openness to exploring these claims in a smaller group setting, we invite you to join in. There is no better place to see what we believe in action (John 13:35).

What to Expect –
The groups meet for about 2 hours and spend time catching up over coffee, snacks, or maybe a meal. There is time spent studying the bible facilitated by a leader, and then some time spent praying for one another.

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY

Grow Together!

A Bible study available to women only.

This group meets from time to time.

Consult the EVENTS tab to see when the next event begins.

We value prayer at IBC, both in the daily practice of every believer and as a congregation when we gather. We have a time of congregational prayer at each of our church services. We also have prayer groups who meet and pray for the needs of the church. If you have a personal prayer need and would like to share it with one of our prayer groups, please click on the Contact button.

QUARTERLY PRAYER

Every three months we gather for a half-day of prayer. Whether for the morning or the afternoon, we break up into small groups and spend time praying for various needs, local and global. This is a time to pray BIG prayers, to ask God to act in our nation and the world.

Visit our calendar to see when the next one is scheduled. They are typically scheduled around Jan. 1, the beginning of April, beginning of July, and end of October.

WEEKLY PRAYER

Every Sunday morning at IBC ST. PAUL before the church service, starting at 10:15am.

What the church needs today is not more machinery or better, not new organizations or more and novel methods, but men whom the Holy Spirit can use—men of prayer, men mighty in prayer.”

~ E. M. Bounds

The ministry of the church should “equip the saints for the work of the ministry.” One way we do this is by addressing specific topics and issues through classes and studies. Occasionally we might offer a study on marriage, raising kids, or conflict resolution. You can find out what is being offered by clicking on the EVENTS tab.
