James and Jen are taking a break

As announced at our annual general meeting, Pastor James and his wife Jen are about to embark on a sabbatical to recharge their batteries. Your leadership team is prioritizing the care of our pastor so that they can return energized and ready to take on their next stage of ministry.

As James explained, they will often be here, but his role in the day to day leadership and teaching will be put on hold during this time.

They will be back, full force, in August.

Your leadership team developed plans to ensure continuity during their absence.  We will essentially be “treading water” and will not be implementing any major changes.  Ministry leaders will continue to follow the normal programs as developed through the leadership team and Pastor James.

James worked extremely hard and arranged guest pastors to cover for each church.  But, if something happens, and someone cannot make it, we will adapt. We just ask for your patience during this time knowing that a little sacrifice now is worth it for their long term health and well-being!

In the interest of making their break a real break, please reach out to any member of the leadership team John Paul, Doug, or Irish Dave  (just not James!).  We don’t publish telephone numbers or e-mail addresses on the website, but if you need a phone number, just hop onto one of our WhatsApp groups or ask someone.

Of course, if you want to get to together with the Arnold’s socially, please reach out to them directly.  

Also, we would ask that you please continue to lift them and their family up in prayer that this may be a real time of rest and growth in their faith.
